Opportunities to Serve

Phones: Work from home, answering calls from newcomers or members seeking assistance finding meetings, learning about Al-Anon or Alateen, or seeking solutions. Email al.anon.vol@gmail.com to receive sign-up information.

12 Step Callers: Work from home, calling someone in crisis needing experience, strength, and hope. (phone volunteers will provide contact information for the person in need of 12th step sharing). To be on our 12th Step call list, please email the DASC at officecoordinator@denverasc.org

Office Assistance: Work in the office, preparing thank you cards, labeling Literature, entering transactions, and any other projects as needs change. Contact the office coordinator at 303-321-8895 to schedule office times.

Service Representative: Groups is in our area guide us through the vote and input of the Service Representative. Ask your GR about this opportunity.

Serve on the Board: Contact the office, your group’s Service Representative, or any member of the current board for information on available opportunities and upcoming board member elections.

Al‑Anon’s Tradition Seven

In keeping with Al-Anon’s Tradition Seven, Al-Anon is self-supporting, accepting contributions only from Al-Anon members and declining outside contributions.

While contributions cover each group’s rent and other expenses, the Seventh Tradition is essential at every level of Al‑Anon service. It is both a privilege and a responsibility for groups and members to ensure that not only their group, but all service levels remain self‑supporting. This keeps Al‑Anon free of outside influences that might divert us from our primary purpose of supporting families and friends of alcoholics.

In addition to the buttons below, you can mail or hand-deliver donations to the our office at the address below.

1. Mail a check or money order to

2. Donate over the phone with a debit/credit card or electronic check if you call the Office Coordinator directly at 303-321-8895.

3. Let the Office Coordinator know what amount you would like to donate and they can create an Invoice that will be emailed to you that can you can pay with a debit/credit card, Apple Pay, or electronic check online.
